Nick Curling
Nick is a solicitor specialising in commercial litigation.
Nick studied law at the University of Birmingham and graduated in 2000. He qualified as a solicitor in September 2003 having trained at Taylor Wessing. On qualification he joined the commercial litigation department of Hextalls.
Nick has extensive litigation experience including contractual disputes, banking, professional negligence (including solicitors, property valuers, auditors and quantity surveyors), fraud, judicial review and general debt recovery. In addition, Nick also specialises in claims involving the Commercial Agents Regulations, regularly acting for both principals and agents. In recent years, he has developed a niche practice advising recruitment firms in their contractual disputes with clients.
Nick is familiar with all types of Alternative Dispute Resolution, especially mediation. He has also successfully deployed all forms of enforcement measures to recover judgments once obtained.
Nick enjoys playing and watching football and occasionally thrashes his way around a squash court. He is also a member of an English Civil War re-enactment society and likes wining and dining.
