Dan trained in the City at American-headquartered international firm Jones Day, qualifying in March 2009.  He then worked at one of the largest national litigation law firms in the country before joining Elborne Mitchell in December 2010.

Dan is involved in employment and general company commercial work, both contentious and non-contentious, as part of the firm’s commercial, regulatory and employment team.  He is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association.

Dan’s litigation experience includes: professional negligence (including policy response issues and matters relating to property valuers and managing agents, mortgage brokers, estate agents and solicitors); debt recovery; and contractual, insurance and property related disputes.  He was also part of the team that represented Digicel in its successful LCIA arbitration claim for breach of sponsorship agreement against the West Indies Cricket Board relating to Sir Allen Stanford's $20m 20/20 cricket match in Antigua between the England cricket and a team from the West Indies.

Dan is a keen guitarist and – when time allows – composes, records, plays out, attends international workshops and occasionally teaches. He also enjoys audio engineering, cooking, travel and photography.
