
Trainee recruitment FAQs
For which year of training are we presently recruiting?
We have now completed our trainee recruitment programmes for 2012 and 2013. Applications may now be made for 2014. The closing date for receipt of applications for 2013 is 30 November 2012.
How do you apply for a training contract?
By printing an application form [Microsoft Word Document] and sending it to the address listed on this page or by writing to us, following which we will send you an application form. Completed application forms may be returned by post or e-mail but must be signed and dated.
What is the interview procedure?
You will have a first interview with two members of the Firm. If you are successful at that interview you will then have a second interview with two of the Firm's partners. We may also ask you to complete an exercise that involves the assimilation of a case study.
Do we have a preferred LPC college?
No.
Do we have a preference for any degree discipline?
Again, no; we do not necessarily require you to have studied law at degree level. Each application is considered on its merits. We do however, generally prefer applicants with at least a 2.1 degree.
Do we offer vacation placements?
There is no official scheme. Often, if we have vacancies, they occur at very short notice and as such we tend to acknowledge CVs and keep all details on file should the situation alter.
